We are proud to represent an extremely talented artist, Raffi Dayagi.

Dayagi is a self-taught artist. Born in Tel Aviv, raised and educated in kibbutz Ayelet Hashachar. Dayagi lives and paints in Tel Aviv.

This painting is from the series "Soldiers" which deals with the classic stereotype of the Israeli Macho – the soldier. From a perspective of a man who discovered his homosexual tendency in the army service, Dayagi challenges the hero stereotype and it's boundaries without loosing sympathy by softening, embellishing and adding "feminine" elements to his paintings.
